anode protection system was not maintained thereby causing electrolysis in
the propellers and other gears:
A photo of the rudders, propellers and strut after
the anode was completely eaten away.
With the anode eaten away, pitting and weakening,
both on the blade edges and inner surfaces as well as the propeller nut is
obvious.
