Wind Horse (Sea Trial) - Steve Dashew

Following are some photos of the Wind Horse during her sea trial in adverse weather condition. She was designed by Steve Dashew and is fitted with two 26 inch 5 blade Tiger Propellers.

The Wind Horse finally got a day with wind, few waves, and some sunshine - the right conditions for a helicopter photo session. True wind 32 to 35 knots. Waves four to six feet with the occasional seven footer. Downwind doing 12.5 to 16 knots.

"The comfort level in adverse weather continues to amaze us - Steve Dashew"

Steve informed Henleys that Ivor Wilkins, the photographer, wanted them to be on the fly bridge for scale. Amazingly, it was dry and the motion remarkably calm, comfortable in terms of motion and spray.
